Your take-home VI Peel kit is your guide for the exact timing of your post-peel towelettes and products.
Follow the instructions given at your appointment for the VI Peel formula you received.
The first four hours: Leave the peel on. Do not wash your face or apply makeup, sunscreen, or other products. At the four-hour mark, begin the steps in your take-home kit.
Over the next week:
· Use your post-peel towelettes in the order and at the times listed in your kit. Avoid applying a towelette to skin that has already peeled.
· Stick with your kit’s cleanser, Post Treatment Repair Cream, and SPF. Set aside your usual skincare until peeling is complete.
· Expect flaking or peeling to begin around day three, though everyone peels differently. Never pull, pick, or scrub peeling skin.
· Avoid direct sun for the first seven days. Wear your kit’s SPF 50 and a hat when outside.
· Skip strenuous exercise for 72–96 hours. Your provider may recommend a longer break if you are prone to pigmentation.
· If you miss a towelette or are unsure what to use, call us so we can guide you through the next step. Contact Vie Riche for severe irritation, blistering, or any reaction that concerns you. Call or text 770-558-2807.

Your skin has started its renewal process. Follow the instructions your Vie Riche provider gave you at your appointment; your care may vary based on your treatment.
The first evening:
Your skin may feel hot, tight, and sunburned. Redness and swelling are expected, especially around the eyes. Use a clean, cool compress for comfort, and apply only the products your provider recommended. Keep your skin protected and avoid touching or rubbing it.
Starting the next morning
· Gently cleanse twice daily with lukewarm water and an approved gentle cleanser. Use your hands and pat dry.
· Apply your recommended moisturizer whenever your skin feels dry.
· Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day. Avoid direct sun exposure, especially during the first week.
· Skip exfoliants, scrubs, washcloths, skin brushes, retinoids, acids, and other active products until we tell you it’s time to restart them.
What healing can look like
Days 1–2: Redness, warmth, tightness, and swelling are common. Swelling may be more noticeable the morning after treatment and typically the worst on day 3.
Days 2–3: Tiny dark spots and a bronzed, sandpaper-like texture may appear. These are called MENDs and are a normal part of the process.
Days 4–7: Your skin will gradually flake and smooth out. Let it shed naturally—do not pick, scrub, or peel it. Healing can take longer on the neck, chest, or body, or after a more intensive treatment.
Wait until peeling is complete and your provider clears you before applying makeup. Avoid strenuous exercise and heavy sweating while your skin is healing.
When to call us: Contact Vie Riche promptly if swelling is excessive or worsening, or if you develop pus-like drainage, increasing warmth around the treated area, fever, or severe itching. If something doesn’t look or feel right, we want to hear from you.
Questions during healing? Call or text Vie Riche at 770-558-2807.

Immediately After Treatment
• Remain upright for approximately 4 hours after your appointment.
• Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying firm pressure to the treated areas for the remainder of the day.
• Makeup and skincare may be applied gently after treatment.
• Avoid facials, facial massage, gua sha, or other treatments that place significant pressure on the treated areas for 24 hours.Exercise & Heat
Avoid strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day. You may resume your normal exercise routine the following day.
For the first 24 hours, avoid excessive heat exposure such as saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and hot yoga.
What to Expect
Small bumps or redness at the injection sites are normal and typically resolve within 15–30 minutes. Mild tenderness, swelling, or bruising may also occur.
A mild headache can occasionally occur following treatment.
Neuromodulators do not work immediately. You may begin noticing changes within several days, with results continuing to develop over the following 1–2 weeks. The exact onset and duration vary depending on the product used and the individual.
Your Follow-Up
Please allow a full 2 weeks for your treatment to settle before evaluating your final result.
If a follow-up assessment or adjustment is needed, please contact us after the two-week mark. Additional treatment may be recommended depending on your anatomy, muscle movement, treatment goals, and initial dose.
When to Contact Us
Please contact our office with any questions or concerns following your treatment.
Seek prompt medical attention for unusual or concerning symptoms, particularly difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing; significant muscle weakness; or symptoms of a severe allergic reaction.

To help minimize swelling and support the best possible result following your hyaluronic acid filler treatment, please follow these post-care recommendations.
Immediately After Treatment
• Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying firm pressure to the treated areas unless specifically instructed by your provider.
• Makeup and skincare may be applied gently once the injection sites have closed, often 24 hours later.
• Avoid facials, facial massage, gua sha, or other treatments that place significant pressure on the treated areas for 1–2 weeks, unless cleared by your provider.
• A clean, cool compress may be applied gently to help with swelling or discomfort. Avoid applying ice directly to the skin.Medications & Alcohol
Avoid alcohol and non-essential blood-thinning medications or supplements for 24–48 hours after treatment, as these may increase bruising and swelling.
Do not discontinue any prescribed blood thinner without first consulting the healthcare provider who prescribed it.
If needed for discomfort, Tylenol® (acetaminophen) is generally appropriate when taken as directed, provided you do not have a medical reason to avoid it.
Exercise & Heat
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours following treatment.
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid excessive heat exposure such as saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and hot yoga, as heat may temporarily increase swelling.
What to Expect
Swelling, tenderness, redness, firmness, and bruising are common following filler treatment. The area may initially appear slightly uneven or feel firm while swelling resolves and the product settles.
Swelling is often most noticeable during the first 24–72 hours and may fluctuate before improving. Lip filler, in particular, can cause more significant swelling.
Allow approximately 2 weeks for swelling to resolve and your filler to fully settle before evaluating your final result. Some areas or treatments may take longer.
Your Follow-Up
Please avoid judging or manipulating your filler while it is still swollen. If you have concerns about your result, contact us rather than attempting to massage the area yourself.
If a follow-up assessment is needed, we generally recommend waiting approximately 2-4 weeks, unless you are experiencing a concerning symptom that requires earlier evaluation.
When to Contact Us
Some swelling, bruising, tenderness, and temporary asymmetry are expected. However, contact our office immediately if you experience severe or increasing pain, significant blanching or unusual discoloration of the skin, a cool or dusky appearance to the treated area, blistering, or any other rapidly worsening or unusual symptoms.
Any change in vision, loss of vision, severe eye pain, or other sudden visual symptoms following filler treatment is a medical emergency. Seek emergency medical attention immediately and contact our office.

To help minimize swelling and support the best possible results following your Sculptra® or Radiesse® treatment, please follow these post-care recommendations.
Immediately After Treatment
• Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, and firmness at the injection sites are normal.
• Avoid rubbing, pressing, or manipulating the treated areas unless specifically instructed by your provider.
• Makeup and skincare may be applied gently once the injection sites have closed.
• A clean, cool compress may be applied gently for swelling or discomfort. Avoid applying ice directly to the skin.
• Avoid facials, facial massage, gua sha, or other treatments that place significant pressure on the treated areas for 1–2 weeks, unless otherwise directed by your provider.Sculptra Massage
If you received Sculptra, follow the 5-5-5 rule unless your provider gives you different instructions:
Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days.
Use clean hands and gentle, even pressure when massaging. Your provider will review the appropriate massage technique with you.
If you received Radiesse, do not massage the treated area unless specifically instructed to do so by your provider.
Medications & Alcohol
Swelling and fullness immediately after treatment are expected and do not represent your final result. As this initial swelling resolves, the treated area may appear similar to how it looked before treatment.
Biostimulators work gradually by stimulating your body's own collagen production. Results develop over the following weeks to months rather than appearing immediately.
Depending on your treatment plan and goals, a series of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.
Your Follow-Up
Your provider will recommend an appropriate follow-up schedule based on the product used, treatment area, and your individualized treatment plan.
Because collagen production takes time, avoid evaluating your final result too early.
When to Contact Us
